7.1   Written Confirmation of Orders Required

Order specifications given verbally must be confirmed by written purchase order sent via fax or email to the Tembec Paperboard Group’s Inside Sales Department prior to production. The Tembec Paperboard Group reserves the right to refuse any claims resulting from failure to meet specifications that have not been confirmed by written purchase order by the customer.

The selection of the proper grade to meet end-use requirements is the responsibility of the customer. Tembec paperboard group assumes no obligation or liability for losses, damages, liability, cost and expenses arising out of or related to such end-use requirements.

7.2   Orders Without Final Specifications/Latest Date of Change

Orders are considered firm as entered. The Tembec Paperboard Group will make every effort to accommodate changes in specifications, but will not guarantee the same delivery date.

The Tembec Paperboard Group will quote delivery dates with a latest date of change that is 2 weeks prior to the manufacturing run.

7.3   Restrictions on Changes

Changes or cancellations to orders cannot be accepted once the manufacturing process has begun.

Order changes or cancellations must be confirmed by written purchase order.

Provided the order specifications remain the same, the quantity may be increased if manufacture of the order has not begun and the customer can accept shipment delay until machine time is open to manufacture the entire order at one time. Quantity increases may be refused in cases where the customer cannot wait for open machine time.

7.4   Order Delivery Dates
Quotations (price and delivery) are valid for 24 hours. If an order is not placed within 24 hours of quotation, a new price or delivery date must be requested.
